Leave Policy

This leave policy is designed to provide a structured framework for managing paid and unpaid leaves within our organisation, ensuring a balance between work responsibilities and personal needs of our employees.

1. Paid Leave Allocation:

  • Annual Paid Leaves: Employees are entitled to 13 paid leaves per annum. These can be availed for any reason, subject to approval.
  • Public Holidays: In addition to the annual paid leaves, employees are granted paid leave on three national holidays: Republic Day (January 26), Independence Day (August 15), and Gandhi Jayanti (October 2). However, if employees are required to work on these days, they may utilize these leaves on other festival days like Holi, Diwali etc., as per their discretion.

Total Paid Leaves: Employees have a total of 16 paid leaves each year that can be scheduled as per personal or cultural necessities.

2. Leave Scheduling:

  • Monthly Limitation: To ensure continuous productivity and operational efficiency, employees are encouraged to limit their leave requests to not more than one paid leave per month. Exceptions may be considered during festival periods or special circumstances, allowing up to two paid leaves in a month.
  • Approval Process: All paid leave requests must be submitted at least 2 days in advance and are subject to approval based on team workload and company requirements. Emergency leave requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

3. Unpaid Leave:

  • Policy: Should an employee exhaust their allocated paid leaves, any further leave taken will be classified as unpaid leave.
  • Conditions: Unpaid leave must be approved by the direct supervisor and is granted based on the business operations and the employee’s personal circumstances.

4. Compliance:

  • All employees are expected to adhere to the leave policy as outlined. This policy is in compliance with the applicable local laws and regulations.

5. Policy Review and Amendments:

  • This policy is subject to review and amendments at the discretion of the management to better meet the needs of both the organisation and its employees.
